Premium Translucent Veneers & Dental Crowns

When teeth are heavily decayed, cracked, root-canal treated, or severely discolored, they require robust structural reinforcement. Dental crowns provide full-coverage protection, while veneers offer cosmetic restoration for front teeth.
At Dr Batra's Dental Hub, we utilize premium metal-free materials like CAD/CAM milled Zirconia and lithium disilicate (E-Max). These state-of-the-art restorations offer exceptional structural strength and match the natural translucency of teeth. We also offer Metal (DMLS) and Metal Ceramic Crowns as reliable and cost-effective treatment options for patients seeking durable restorations at a more affordable price point.
Key Treatment Benefits
- Metal-Free Aesthetics: No dark margins or grey shadows at the gum line over time.
- Zirconia Strength: Highly durable restorations designed to withstand heavy chewing forces.
- E-Max Precision: Exceptional fit and natural translucency, ideal for front teeth veneer makeovers.
- Digital Precision: Utilizing 3D intraoral scans for absolute margins and a comfortable bite.
Veneer or Crown — Which Do You Need?
They solve different problems, and the distinction decides the treatment.
| Veneer | Crown | |
|---|---|---|
| Covers | The front surface only | The entire tooth |
| Tooth structure removed | Minimal | More substantial |
| Best for | Discolouration, chips, small gaps, shape | Heavily decayed, cracked or root-treated teeth |
| Strength added | Little | Significant — it splints the tooth |
| Typical use | Front teeth, cosmetic | Any tooth, structural |
In short: a veneer changes how a tooth looks; a crown rebuilds and protects a tooth that has lost structure. If a tooth has had root canal treatment, it almost always needs a crown rather than a veneer.

Materials We Use
- Zirconia. Very strong and metal-free, well suited to back teeth and to patients who grind.
- E-max / lithium disilicate. Highly translucent, excellent for front teeth where appearance matters most.
- Porcelain-fused-to-metal. Long-established and durable, though less translucent than all-ceramic options.
- Composite veneers. Built directly onto the tooth in a single visit; more affordable, less durable than porcelain.
The Process
- Assessment and shade matching. We discuss what you want to change and confirm the tooth is suitable.
- Preparation. A conservative amount of enamel is reshaped — considerably less for a veneer than a crown.
- Digital scan or impression. Sent to the laboratory with detailed shade information.
- Temporary restoration. Worn while the permanent one is made.
- Fit and bond. Checked for fit, bite and appearance before being permanently cemented.

How Long They Last
Well-made crowns and veneers commonly last many years, but they are not maintenance-free. Longevity depends on your bite, whether you grind, and how well you clean around the margins — the junction between restoration and tooth is where problems start. Nightly grinding is a common cause of early failure, and a night guard protects the investment.
What Affects the Cost
Material choice is the main variable, followed by the number of units and whether any preparatory work such as root canal treatment is needed first. You will receive a written plan before treatment begins.
